Tai Chi

Tai Chi QiGong Shibashi is a gentle form suited to all abilities.

This form is easy to learn and follow and can help with balance, stability and flexibility along with calm, refreshed relaxation.

In the class I will provide guided instruction of individual moves and take the class through a complete Shibashi 18 movement flow.

This class is ideal if you:

  • want a gentle introduction or return to exercise

  • have limited mobility and want gentle exercise*

  • are already active and want to build some gentle flexibility and stability work into your routine.

*Including optional seated adaptations.

Zumba

Party your way to increased fitness!

Join me for a fun and informal dance based workout. I run a medium intensity Zumba class, with easy to follow steps.

Don't worry about your rhythm, you don't need to be a pro dancer, just turn up, have fun, and as long as you generally go in the right direction you'll be doing just fine.

This class is suitable if you:

  • want some fun exercise that doesn't feel too much like hard work

  • are looking for an active class that's not too complicated

Class will include warm up and cool down and a mix of rhythms and speeds in between to get us active without getting us too exhausted.

I feel so relaxed and refreshed by the end of a Tai Chi QiGong Shibashi practice with Rachel. She explains it clearly and offers adaptations when needed.

Rachel's Zumba class is fun and easy to follow. Not too fast or complicated, but by the end you feel like you've had a great workout.
